Role Summary
As B2B Communities Manager, you will be the driving force behind building, engaging, and growing our professional member communities. You will create value for members by designing experiences that connect them meaningfully—across industries, interests, and business stages. You will work closely with content, events, marketing, and sales teams to curate a relevant, dynamic, and engaged member ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Community Strategy & Engagement

Develop and execute a B2B community engagement strategy aligned with membership goals.

Segment members into relevant communities based on profile, sector, interest, or need.

Design and manage initiatives to increase member-to-member interaction and participation (e.g., roundtables, working groups, online forums, thematic meetups).
Member Relations

Serve as the key point of contact for community-related questions, feedback, and facilitation.

Build personal relationships with high-value members to ensure satisfaction and retention.

Onboard new members into the community and guide them to relevant groups or events.
Content & Collaboration

Work with the editorial and content teams to surface insights and stories from the community.

Identify and elevate thought leaders, speakers, and contributors from the member base.

Create and maintain community newsletters, updates, and member spotlights.
Data & Performance

Monitor community engagement metrics (active participation, retention, satisfaction).

Gather member feedback and derive actionable insights to improve community initiatives.

Report on community KPIs and propose improvements based on analytics.
Cross-Functional Support

Support sales with insights into member needs and engagement opportunities.

Collaborate with the events team to design member-driven event formats.

Work with marketing to promote community success stories and testimonials.
Requirements
Experience
-
3–5 years in community management, B2B marketing, membership programs, or related fields.

Experience working in or with professional networks, chambers of commerce, media, or associations is a plus.
